Set up in a few minutes

Your computer runs Macro Deck. Everything else only needs a browser.

  1. Install Macro Deck

    On the Windows, macOS or Linux computer you want to control.

  2. Open the web client

    In the browser of any phone, tablet, or computer on the same network. Android devices can also connect over USB.

  3. Build your deck

    Arrange profiles, folders and widgets on your computer. Connected devices update right away.

  4. Connect your apps

    Turn on the integrations you use, like OBS Studio or Home Assistant, and put their actions on buttons.

Widgets for every job

A tile on your deck can be more than a button. Mix these widgets freely and size them to fit your layout.

Action Button
A customizable button with image and label that runs your actions.
Slider
An adjustable value, horizontal or vertical, for example your mic volume.
Clock
Digital or analog, showing the time of the device or the computer.
History Graph
A live chart for a numeric value such as CPU, RAM or GPU load.
Weather
Current conditions and a multi-day forecast for a location.
Music Player
Shows what is playing on Spotify and other music players, with playback controls.

Add your own widgets with plugins

Plugins are not limited to actions. They can register new widget types and draw them with Macro Deck UI, using components such as gauges, dials, charts, toggles, lists and progress bars. Macro Deck renders them on every connected device, just like the built-in widgets.

Real logic, not just shortcuts

Give a button actions for a short press, a long press, a double tap or an event, and build them into flows. Branch with If, Else if and Else, combine conditions on live variables, repeat steps and wait in between.

This Go live button checks whether you are already streaming, refuses to start while the CPU is busy, and otherwise lowers the music, flashes its border three times, presses your streaming hotkey and turns green.

Make every button your own

Pick background, label and icon colors, bring your own icons and frame them with zoom, position and opacity. Choose fonts and label positions, and add borders that glow, blink or cycle through colors.

Every state of a button gets its own look, so a mic button can be green while live and red while muted. With state mapping it follows a variable instead, for example your mute status in Discord. Put live values such as a {{ vars.deaths }} counter into any label.

Automations without a button

Get your deck ready for the evening stream at 18:00 every day, or react when a device connects, a variable changes or OBS starts streaming.
